Angry youths in Ezelu Okwe in the Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State burnt three youths ON Wednesday for allegedly abducting a new born baby boy.
Sources in the community say that the men forcefully snatched a baby boy from his mother and took off:
“They kidnapped the baby boy and took to their heels immediately. The traumatized mother raised the alarm immediately, which caught the attention of some youths around. The youths quickly intervened, caught the three of them and burnt them alive.”
The youths were said to have carried out jungle justice to deter other kidnappers from committing the crime as a similar incident occurred about two weeks ago which saw the kidnapping of a baby girl.
