The Word today

Text for today is take from 2 Kings 13:21
And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
Burial in the bible days was a very big deal. Abraham had to buy a very special burying place where he buried his wife. That was the same place he was buried when he died. Joseph also instructed the children of Israel not to bury him in Egypt, he instructed them to carry his remain alongside with them to the Promised Land. If the dead man in our text had his way, he would never had wanted to be thrown into any grave just like that, he would have wanted a very befitting burial in his own special grave. This was not to be because God arranged trouble for the people that were carrying him which made them throw him into any available grave they saw. How do I know that it was God that arranged the enemies to come against the people who were to bury this man? Immediately they threw him into Elisha’s grave, he came back to life; they threw him into his breakthrough. Today God will disappoint your will for His will to give you a miracle.

I Corinthians 2:8; Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. God had already told Joseph that he will be a king early in life, but just as God was telling him of his kingdom, Satan arranged trouble for him. One thing the Devil never knew was that trouble is what will lead him to his throne. Are you in any trouble now, God will make that problem you are facing a stepping stone to your breakthrough in life. As it is written had they known they would not have crucified the Lord of glory I Corinthians. 2:8. that trouble you are passing through now is a set up for glory. That affliction will work for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (II Corinthians 4:17) in Jesus name.
