I Timothy 1:18
This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare.
For every child of God, there are prophecies that have gone ahead of you, prophecies that should be fulfilled in your life. For example the bible says …Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings (Isaiah 3:10). Now if you look into your life and see that things are not the way the Lord says it should be, then you are required to fight a good warfare that will deliver the desired result into your life and destiny by the power of the prophecy. Our God is a good God and He has already released to His children all that they need for life and Godly living. Now if God has released by prophecy all you need in life, why are you not getting them? One reason is enemy confrontation, contention and possession of what belongs to you. Paul said …For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries (I Corinthians 16:9). To claim and receive answers to these prophetic declarations, you will have to contend in battle through prayers till you see God’s intervention in your life.
Deuteronomy 2:24; Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. Child of God, don’t sit in despair; your health and well being has been provided for, rise up and take it in Jesus name. Don’t watch the devil sit on your destiny smiling. Never keep silent in prayer until you get what God has kept for you; God bless you.
