Governor Udom Emmanuel Visits Injured Akwa United Supporters in the Hospital

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state on Sunday 28 August paid an unscheduled visit to survivors of the auto crash which involved supporters of the state's Akwa united football club. On saturday 27 August, supporters of Akwa united football club were involved in a ghastly motor accident on their way to support the club which had a match against Enyimba football club in Port Harcourt. The crash ledtvone supporter dead and others severely injured. On arrival at the hospital where the injured are being treated, the governor ordered that they be transfered to a specialist hospital and he also informed them that the government is taking full responsibility for their bills.
