The Word Today

Today's word is from Psalm 118:5-7
The psalmists called upon God in times of distress and he answered. When God is on your side, you need not fear.Man can not do anything to you.
In that time of distress when you're racking your head thinking about a solution just pause a while and call upon him and he will answer you.He did not fail in the past,he's surely not going to fail you now.

The Word Today

In the book of John 2:1-11,we see Jesus in a marriage in Cana of Galilee perform the miracle of turning water into wine.At that marriage the bridegroom had no wine to serve the guests. When it was time for refreshment Jesus asked for what was available (water) and he turned it into wine.Good quality wine!
Sometimes we overlook what we have at hand, but that is what God needs to turn your story to glory.
Forget about the past, hold on to what you have at hand and look up to the hills from where your help comes.!

Super Eagles Still Stranded in Atlanta

With just a few hours to Super Eagles' first match in the Rio 2016 summer Olympics,Nigerian Football Federation is yet to sort out issues with the charter flight for the team.As at the time of this post, the team is still in Atlanta.
This goes to show how much Nigeria longs for gold medals. When some teams have arrived Rio for days now,our footballers are still in Atlanta because we cannot settle airline issues.
I wonder when they will arrive(if they will still go)or probably when NFF finally settles the pending issues Japan will already be waiting for the super eagles in the field. *mtchew.
