Lawrence John Ripple, 70, told his wife following a fight on Friday that "he'd rather be in jail than at home." So, he went straight to Brotherhood Bank and Trust branch, Kansas city, wrote a note stating that he had a gun and wanted money.
The teller handed him $3,000, but instead of walking away, Ripple sat at the lobby and admitted to the security guard that he was the suspect.
He was taken away by cops and the money returned to the bank.
Is his wife so terrible?
