#JusticeforHajara:6 month old Baby Raped by 40 year old Deaf and Dumb Teacher. Suspect Released on bail!

The caae of the six month old baby that was raped ny a 40year old deaf and dumb teacher in Potiskum,Yobe state has caused an uproar  online as the alleged culprit has been released on bail after just one day in detention.

 The alleged rapist is said to have connived with a 10 year old boy who carried the baby from her mother who is a neighbour and took the baby to the teacher who defiled her until her intestines were destroyed.

 The National Civil Defence Corps arrested the teacher identified as Shaaibu Yakubu Abdullahi.The commandant of the NSCDC Muhammad Gidado Yari said the suspect was arrested on September 1st by men of his command but was however released on bail after the suspect denied the allegation. He said also that the suspect was identified by the 10 year boy who connived with the teacher in a group picture of teachers and students.

Yari said the suspected rapist was arrested after a non-governmentai organisation ,National Council of Women Society (NSCWS) reported the situation to the corps,adding that the matter has been reported to the state ministry of justice for prosecution as the case needs a professional in sign language to interpret.


 The baby is said to have been taken to University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for examination and treatment.
